WMF Hotel Contour 88-Piece Flatware Set, Service for 8

I'm familiar with WMF flatware from my travels and living in Europe. I like the style, durabilty, and heft.

I was excited initially to read about the hotel contour set because it had extra forks and spoons, and all in the quality of WMF. The package arrived today and the flatware is light. Too light for quality stainless steel flatware. The knife, fork and spoon weigh 115 grams compared to my current "good company" Oneida flatware that weighs 150grams. Furthermore, all pieces were magnetic.

According to my research, WMF's Cromargan 18/10 stainless steel should be heavier and non-magnetic.

I am returning this whole set and I will think again before buying any WMF America product.

Shipped up to Mexico, great quality and a very good bargain I will enjoy them with the family for long long time
