The quality of this product is awful. The red plastic area is so cheap. It just about reseambles the plastic used in picnic forks and spoons. The metal seems like it wouldn't take much pressure to bend it. The blades are extremely thin and don't seem like they would be able to hold up for long, even if the rest of it did. Changing the blades isn't easy either. While it's supposed to be a pop one out and replace with the other, you are required to get pretty close to those thin blades, risking cuts to your fingers. I didn't even try it out as it was damaged when it arrived, but even undamaged, I'd already decided to return it. I found the Progressive Jumbo fry cutter in a local store and purchased that. It is almost like one I had years ago which lasted a very long time. One last comparison is the Sportsman cutter will allow a pototo about 3 inches long for cutting while the Progressive will allow for one 5 inches long. This product doesn't cut the potatoes and it bends easy I doNot recomand this product I put the potatos in and to my suprise I cut myself

I could not even put the smallest of potatoes in this without cutting them in half and once I finally got the potatoe cut small enough to fit it did not cut it easily or smoothly. had to put a lot of force to get it through and then it bent it. Was so dissapointed. So now I am back to hand cutting my french friesFirst: I did a review on this product a week ago and it isn't showing up. Seems suspicious. Here's the review. Very poorly made. Used twice. First time was great. Second time the blade was so dull I couldn't get the potatoe through and broke the handle. A real piece of junk. I threw it away. Seller should try to do better and sell a good product. It's about principle.
