Simply put, I purchased both main sets and this is the nicest cutlery I have ever owned. I just trashed my Henkels (they are not what they used to be), and gave these a try. I had never seen them before because they are not sold in stores. They are just wonderful. Be careful, I have cut myself several times already. These are the sharpest knives I have ever owned. They are also very light in the hand which feels awesome. My personal favorite at this moment is the tomato knife. The aluminum handles are very original and sheik looking. I bought a 25 slot Knife block and now they are all nicely displayed in my Kitchen. I especially love the card these sets come with that is personally signed by the knife sharpener (a real person!) at this company. Every set is hand crafted and sharpened! This is 2011 and to find that type of personalized quality still in existance is just amazing...and far removed from the mass produced chinese junk out there.

I was given 3 Rada knives as a gift about 15 years ago. My husband and I have always referred to them as the 'good knives'. If I knew how affordable they were, I would have replaced every knife in my kitchen YEARS ago with Rada knives. I just bought this set and the steak knife set and replaced all my inferior knifes with these.

These are excellent quality knives, made in the U.S.A. and are affordable! They arrive SUPER sharp and stay sharp for a LONG time. Hand wash to keep the handles from greying, or not. Someone mentioned using a wire brush attachment on a Dremel tool to restore the handle color. These knives are worth a little effort to keep them looking new, but even with grey handles they are still the 'good knives'!

Very pleased with these knives, they are sharp, sharp, sharp, sharp.

Not for the novice and even then be careful if you are used to dull knives!

I got the brushed aluminum, they are gorgeous, but, need careful handling to stay that way, you MUST wash and dry immd & never put in the dishwasher or they will rust.

The little sharpener included works very well!

All together I am so happy to find an American made knife set to replace aging Henkels which have really gone downhill in quality, in my opinion.

What can you say about perfection? These knifes and special cutting tools are the best I have found. I am the one that does the majority of the cooking in our house hold, and I remember that my parents had a set of these given them as a wedding present....over 60 years ago, and that set is still in use.
