Tramontina Damascus 5 Piece Cutlery Knife Set with In-drawer Block

These knives are or are almost razor sharp they fall through tomatoes. They're nice and heavy you feel like you have something in your hand. I was sceptical of the damascus from the pictures but upon arrival I was greatly pleased to find that they are genuine damascus. Beautiful knives. Absolutely love them in my kitchen.

Knives are not exactly perfect out of the box (there were a few chips on the cutting edge), but man, for the price, they are excellent.

Ok quality, very sharp. I didn't think you would get these knives for this low price unless they were made in China. But they are worth the price at first observations.Only time will tell.

The weight and balance are nice. Set came very sharp. I can't say how well the edge will hold yet. One star is taken off because the tapper of one knife seems to be oddly shaped, not evenly curved. Pretty Damascus pattern on the blades if that matters to you.

My set was bought from an Amazon seller, Tritin Wholesale, that actually turned out to be Sams Club based on the packing box and the sellers return address label. These are beautiful knives but do not have visible full tang construction in the handles. My set arrived with properly radiused edges so no gaps in cutting when the blade is rocked for fine chopping or mincing. They could have been sharper as received. No visible or feelable edge chipping and they sharpened quickly and nicely on my Spyderco Sharpmaker.

Only time will tell but so far these appear to be an excellent buy for Damascus steel kitchen knives.
