I have a 11 year old WMF mezzaluna that looks the same as this one but cuts infinitely better than this one does brand new. I bought this brand new for six dollars from amazon (sold by amazon) a couple of years ago and that was a good price, now it is outrageous. It is a useful tool to have if u have small kids, since u can cut food into little bites pretty simply and with just one hand.
