The handles on these types of knives should leave room for your fingers when cutting all the way down to a cutting board, this one doesn't other than that the blade and cutting is fine

Cuts really well so far, very sharp. I do wish it came with a protective cover like some of them do, as it's fairly fragile vs. metal, and very sharp. A cover would really be helpful. But it cuts well. Time will tell on chipping and retaining the sharpness. It's my first ceramic knife, so I am still experimenting. Thanks.

have bought 5 knives and love all of them, very very sharp, easy to clean. great knife and the price is very reasonable. i replaced a set of stainless that i had for 38 years and i hope these last as long. will buy more just to have a set at all times. try them you will not be sorry
