Victorinox Cutlery 4-Inch Straight Utility Knife, Blue Polypropylene Handle with Microban

I bought a couple of these last Christmas, along with a few more Victorinox kitchen knives of different sizes.

This 4-inch utility knife is very solidly made, great size, and inexpensive. I find that I reach for one of these a lot when I need to cut something small, and often use them as steak knives also.

Highly recommended.

I love this knife. it is so handy that I use this knife for everything (Peering, chopping, etc)

I bought this little knife to make my Amazon purchase more than $25 to be eligible for a free shipping. I use this knife to peel apples, open mails and packages, etc. The blade is very sharp and the knife gets the jobs done. I knew the knife has the blue handle, but wish it was black instead to blend into my other knives.

Cook's Illustrated loves them. I prefer the shorter 3 1/4" which is currently available through Amazon for $1. I ordered 10 for $10. Shipping was $16.49 for the 10 (wonder where the profit comes from..., hmm) for a low price of $2.65 per knife. Not bad. Makes a nice gift for cooks, letter openers for the office, etc.

I love to cook and if you do too, you know having a good knife makes or breaks your mood. I am left handed so finding a good quality knife is not easy. I love this brand. My mum gave me pairing knife 3 years ago and it still cuts as new! I needed new utility knife and so decided to stay with this brand and I am so glad.

The blade is sharp and handle is light. I throw it in dishwasher and no problem so far. It is not very expensive yet works as good as them.
