Van Vacter PBJ Bagel Knife, Black and Stainless Steel

This knife's got a big handle, the grooves don't seem to clean up as easy as the regular butter knife. I do like its serrated edge for bagels, but still have doubts about the price-worthiness.

Like the other reviewers, I'm tired of spending money on the cheap pumpkin carving kits that fall apart after using them on a few pumpkins. When I went to purchase this product on amazon, it was out of stock. However, I was able to find it on knifecenter (just search for melon knife -and yes, there's a dot and then a "com" after knifecenter).

I got a free paring knife with my order, which made me feel like they value my business. Which leads me to another point of irritation that I have with amazon (you can stop reading now if you just wanted to know where to buy the knife):

I am a faithful amazon customer for many, many years, but I've had it with these third party sellers who jack up their prices and charge outrageous fees for shipping. I originally found the product two days earlier on amazon for just under four dollars -I put the item in my cart, only to return a day later to buy it and discover it wasn't available from the original seller. I was informed via the shopping cart screen that I could buy it for around twenty from another seller. Does anyone besides me think the original seller and the third party seller are the same entity?
