I got this as a gift.

I really like how it looks.

I only have two small comments about it:

1.) It is taller than you think.

2.) The knives are not really dishwasher safe.

I have rust spots on mine. They cut just fine, but aren't that pretty anymore. I could polish them I guess. Just my two cents.

I just recieved this knife "ex" and I absoultely love it. Its pretty tall and beautifully colored. And me and my friends cant stop talking about it.Also, the knifes that come with it are amazingly sharp. the stand has magnets inside it so the knifes dont just fall out,and the covers in the back protect you from hurting yourself or anyone else other than the "ex" I am now going to decorate my kitchen around this great little item. If you know a girl or woman that is hard to shop for and has a good since of humor go for this right now. Its great..

I received this knife set as a Christmas present, after just breaking up with my boyfriend, "the ex" was the perfect gift! You would think that this funny design wouldn't have great knives, but the knives are very solid one piece and very sharp. The Ex is magnetic so the knives slide in easily and are not loose at all. They stay in place and have plastic guards on the other side so you don't accidently cut yourself. When you see the image, you also don't really realize how big this set is, which can be good or bad depending on how much space you have in your kitchen. I love mine, it's bright pink and sticks out. Whenever people come over they always comment on it and everyone loves it.

One thing I have to say is that these knives will rust if not taken care of properly. After washing, just wipe them dry really quick with a towel and it's done, not a big deal. I read another review saying they werent diswasher safe, but I dont see why not as long as you dont leave them in the damp diswasher after. Just take them out wipe them off and stick them back in the guy! Love this set, much more fun than the tradition knife block!
