This knife has a soft handle. very comfortable for people with carpal tunnel problem. It is very sharp to cut meat, chicken, fruits and vegetables like potatoes, carrots etc. It does not cut vegetables with hard skin like watermelon.Would be a little better it it would be shorter at least for one inch. So far I love to use this knife to cut meat.Just perfect specially if you are an amateur cooker and you don't know that much about top ranked knives =)
