Messermeister 9 Slot Metal Knife Block

I love the industrial chrome steel look. I was looking for a block for am odd assortment of knives that REALLY don't belong just thrown in a drawer and bought this based on looks and price. I was having buyers remorse before it arrived thinking it might not be sturdy and stable. It seems to be well constructed and not about to fall over or apart =)) It's great for people like me who don't have one of those matching knife sets with a block. I just wish it was larger. I'm going to need to buy one more to fit the rest of my knives.

I love this so much better than my prior butcher block. This is cleanable -lets air and light in (less conducive to rusting), and is not made for a particular set (and size) of knives. Thus we can put all our knives into it. I never saw a design like this but am elated to come across it. Very reasonably priced at $19.99.

I bought this for work for safety issues we had and I get mixed reviews. Some are angry that only certain ones get to use it but that might be remedied with getting one for everyone. Knives air dry in the unit, easy to transport, can hang on a wire rack to save space.
