I like these knives because they do not have a pointed tip and have a substantial handle. They would be very similar to what you you would find at a Logan's or Texas Roadhouse steakhouse. Do not have any illusion that they are top of the line European cutlery because they are not but i was not looking for that. I bought eight so when I grill steak for guests they have something that will work with low risk of injury. These are perfect for that.
