Like the rest of the Update cutlery series, the 6" curved boning knife is a well engineered tool. Thinner and more flexible than the straight 6" version (as it should be). Traditional construction using industry standard materials includes German high carbon stainless steel forged blade with bolster, full tang and triple riveted "Pom" polymer (Polyoxymethylene)handle. My local Asian supermarket(and many restaurant suppliers) stock an assortment of Update International knives from well under ten dollars to just over twenty (really).
