This knife is expensive. We were very hesitant to order based on price alone. When we finally were tired of trying the smaller tools that were cheaper, only to find they broke frequently, we just decided we had enough. This knife is AWESOME! It slices through the most brittle of foods with ease. We expect this knife to last a very long time. The quality is very high and the ease of our work has just made all of us so happy.
