I do think it could be sharper when you receive it. Other

than that it cuts precisely and can be used to cut very thin

slices.

I love this knife!!! I have small hands and the size doesn't bother me at all. Global knives are the best. The handles are the most comfortable I've ever used. I have other knives, but I have a tendency to go to my Globals more. This carves through frozen chicken like butter. Unbelievable.....love it!!!!!
