This knife set looks fantastic and it seems to really have been designed by celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse. The selection of knives is noteworthy as great because this set doesn't waste available slots with steak knives but rather it has a very nice assortment of different knives for everyday use in an active kitchen.
The overall quality is great so far the knives are definitely forged and not stamped so we do anticipate using this set for many years to come.
We got these knives through a groupon and am VERY pleased with them. We have a garden so we cut fresh tomatoes, squash, potatoes, and zucc daily it seems. We've had this set for about 5 months now and are buying a second set for close friends as a new home gift. Agree with other reviewer they didn't waste space for steak knives. We clean them by hand and dry them after each use. not a spot of rust, still very sharp. would buy again in a heartbeat!
