i love this 5" utility knife .it is best for cutting veggis.i had this knife before for 10years and never needed sharpening.i lost it so had to get any other one.

The set of knives are great. They cut raw veggies into thin pieces for wonderful salads. Just what I was hoping for.

I really like the 2 larger knives. The small paring knives seem a little too small for comfort. They do cut well and go into the dishwasher. That was an important consideration since, whether they are supposed to or not, they usually wind up there.

This was purchased as extra knives for our set. Can't beat the price. I hope the edges last as long as advertised, but can't be sure at this early date.

I purchased these as a present for a Guatemalan lady friend to give to her when I return. She is a great cook. Not the finest, but since she can't afford to buy some herself, I think she will appreciate these. They are much better than the beat up single knife that she now uses. Hopefully, she will grace me with a plate of her delicious empanadas in gratitude!
