Sasaki Drama 45-Piece Flatware Set, Service for 8

I was looking for a modern contemporary flatware set that was affordable and yet stayed true to its modern/contemporary feel. This set is beautiful! I took a bit of a risk since I could not find reviews anywhere about this particular product. I have seen other Sasaki sets prior and it was all based on the consumer style preference. The handle is a brushed stainless steal finish and the top is a polished finish. They are a good weight, not too heavy. They have a somewhat thin handle, but not flimy.

Also, if you are looking for the modern/contemporary sleek look you will definitely find it with this set but keep in mind that they are actually quite large pieces. I would probably use the salad fork for everyday use and not the dinner fork. The serving set included with the flatware set is also just as stunning.

The set is dramatic looking, but horrible to use. The spoons are actually as deep as they look and do not fit your mouth well. They are shaped more like measuring spoons. I considered returning them, but will just donate them to charity instead.
