To my surprise, this herb scissors works great and is easy to clean--just rinse under the kitchen sink. The efficacy of this tool has broadened my use of fresh herbs in my food preparation. This item is priced just right.

Regular scissor really work just as well for snipping herbs. These don't always cut all the way through, plus bits of herbs get caught between the blades making them harder to clean. Nor did I find them to work well for shredding paper as another reviewer suggested they don't cut through even a single sheet very easily.

I use the scissors to chop up my perrsonal information on bills and such. Works fine on 3 or 4 pages. Creats less mess that a shredding machine.

I had high hopes for these scissors. Unfortunately, they do not work at all well. The don't cut through all the way--takes several tries. Very disappointing.

I thought I could get away using these to shred credit card applications and the like as they came in the mail. No dice. These are too dull for paper and jam up easily.

I guess they're called Herb Scissors for a reason.
