Universal Housewares Small Cast Iron Meat Chopper

I tried this out for the first time this morning. It does an excellent job, but there is a slight metallic taste to the food that I hope goes away after it's used more. Basically, it isn't as handy as a Cuisineart food processor, but it is a good alternative for the price. It is more complicated to cleanlots of parts to correctly reassemble laterbut not so much so that you can't get it right if you think about what you are doing.

it does the job but upon first opening i had a small chunk of the blade flake off xD ? not a good sign of things to come but so far it works i guess.

Our son wanted something to use for both deer meat and regular meat so they could make their own hamburger.
