Norpro 8 Inch Bread Knife, Black

Was looking for a sharp easy to handle bread knife. This is a great knife. Stays sharp and allowes you to cut bread as thin as you want. Very inexpensive, but since using it I would have paid a lot more for it if I had to. Would reccomend this to anyone that makes homemade bread.

This knife is a perfect bread slicer, with or without using a slicing box. The blade is wide enough to keep the cuts straight for an even slice.

This is a decent knife because it keeps a decent edge and doesn't feel flimsy. The price is very good. I would say it has one flaw, but it is a major flaw. When you slicing something like a loaf of bread it doesn't slice evenly. I use my right hand and cut from the right and I always end up with the bottom half of the slice thicker than the top. I've tried cutting at different angles but I still get the same results. That is why I have rated this item 3 stars.

This is a great, inexpensive bread knife. It's a must for the price and if you bake your own bread at home. I get nice, even slices using this knife. It works great on larger 2 pound loaves as well.
