They may come apart a little too easily, but the screwdriver end is handy for prying and the blades are sharp and strong. I've been very happy with these after another brand failed on me.

I'm amazed at all of the high reviews these are getting. I had a pair of these for many years and it was great!! I loved the fact that they come apart and can be put in the dishwasher. They are very sharp and come in handy for a variety of reasons. I liked my old one so much that I decided to buy a couple more because I'm always using them. The new Chicago Kitchen Scissors are manufactured in China and use a low quality Stainless Steel, even if they are actually Stainless Steel. The new Scissors started RUSTING and had to be thrown away because I couldn't cut chicken with rusty scissors. Sadly, the quality of the Chicago brand name is no longer there.

I have three pair of these Chicago Cutlery Insignia Kitchen Scissors, Blue , Red and Black. They are handy for use in the kitchen. Not the sharpest scissors I have used, but work well and fit nicely in the Chicago Cutlery Wood blocks.

I think I had a brown pair for about 15 years that we used for every thing and everywhere. They cut through chicken bones and all of my other kitchen and garden needs. I love the fact you can take them apart and throw them into the dishwasher. The screwdriver came in handy many times. I miss my old ones and happy I found them here on amazon with the Prime shipping option. Score.
