This opener works with a strong motor which allows even the largest can to ripped open with ease. The cutting unit is easily removed, and has a cleverly designed knob on the back of it which allows for an easy and mistake proof re-insertion. It doesn't "pop" when the can is done cutting, so no splash back. Solid construction with a great value.

Had to return this can opener because it would jam while opening certain cans. Very disappointing because the unit seems well made and has nice styling.

I checked the ratings for this and it rated very high. I'm not sure why. It is mediocre at best. Like most I've had, it doesn't always do what it's supposed to and the cutter assembly likes to fall off when removing the can. I will continue to look for a GREAT can opener.
