I have purchased many smaller boards over the years trying to go the "cheaper" route. This board is a fine example of you get what you pay for. Not only does it perform flawlessly, it looks elegant on the counter. I have a very, very small kitchen and this large board is right at home. Sure it's heavy and expensive...but so is a Lexus. Bottom line is when you buy a board like this, you never need to purchase another. Very satisfied buyer on this product as well as everything I have purchased through Amazon. A++

This Boos block is the perfect size for my kitchen counter top. It is thick and never warps. I leave it out all the time. I use one side for meats and the other for everything else. It cleans easily and always looks great!

The cutting board arrived without blemish (no cracks, no chips, no unbecoming marks or wood defects).

I have oiled it as directed by the manufacturer, with the manufacturer's brand of oil. That is probably not necessary, but it worked out splendidly.

Coffee has been "spilled" (ie dumped) on the board to see how well it cleans had it washed right out of the oiled board, as one would expect. I also chopped a bunch of garlic on the board and it cleaned up well without stench.

I would recommend this board to any home chef. It is solid enough to take the beating one gives it when cooking for a family of four, it is small enough not to kill your countertop space and it is easy to maintain.

This is the second cutting board that I have. I bought my first Boos board about 5 years ago. Use is everyday, always wanted another one to put right along side of my first one.

I love them!The old one still looks almost like new, even with constant everyday use! I highly recommend these boards! You will not regret this purchase. With regular cleaning and oiling, you will have these forever ! Would also make incredible gifts!

One corner is slightly damaged and sharp, but I can live with it.
