Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program First let me say what I do like about this cutting board. I love the fact it is made from 100 percent recycled plastic! Also, it is dishwasher safe and the little pegs on the bottom keep it in place on the counter. The size is also very convenient, not too large or too small. Now to get to what I don't appreciate about the cutting board. I love the color green, but this 70's avocado green is just ugly to me. And what I really don't like is that the board has a slippery feel and that isn't comfortable to me when I am cutting bread or veggies. In fact, the loaf of bread seems to slip from the board as I cut it and it just feels like I am fighting to keep the bread or veggies on the board. Also, the knife really makes marks on the board even on the first use. I guess that's not a big issue if you are sterilizing it in the dishwasher, but otherwise I would be concerned about bacteria. In the end, I have mixed feelings because I think the use of the recycled plastic is fantastic But I don't care for the look of the green color at all or the performance given the slippery feel.

When I think of eco-friendly, I do not necessarily think of durability, but this cutting board is tough. It is very durable and stands up to my very sharp Wustoff knives.

At first I was put off by the vibrant green color, but it actually makes a nice serving tray for bread and cheese.

It has been through the dishwasher a dozen times and still looks new. Even when I am less than careful, it doesn't slide around the counter. The green is a fun color which is an added bonus!

Well, this one is really special! It's easy to clean and fits nicely on the counter. I find myself using it more than my other cutting boards.

On Vine we were offered green. It's not a bad color sort of like the old green refrigerators so if your kitchen is color coordinated, you might want to consider other colors.

It's a great housewarming gift too. Most of us need more than one.
