This pattern is known as a "thread" pattern, so-called because there is an incised line, or thread, around the handles. A very classic and classy pattern. The size is "Continental", so it has a heavy, fine restaurant feel to it. It is done in beautiful high-polish 18/10 stainless, and the attention to detail is good. The knife blade is the best I've seen in any flatware. This is the last flatware I'm going to buy in my lifetime. I just wish it was priced more realistically.
