Oyster Knife / Shucker - Stainless Steel with Soft Grips Handle

I gave this as a gift had it engraved and it was quite a hit with the recipient! I will remember this knife in case I need another. Very good quality!

Not buying this item for myself, I thought that a shorter blade would be good. Apparently I doesn't let you get all the way inside a larger oyster. The protective sheild however is a great idea. It is very sturdy and the grip very helpful to keep from slipping. Unfortunatley the owner may not get much use out of it because the blade is too short. This might be best used on clams....
