This is my third from the Katana series, and I couldn't be happier. There is a "balance" to these knives that's hard to describe unless you weild one. Light, yet slices effortlessly. The sharpness of the blades is a little intimidating. So these are for people who can use caution with their cutlery. And they do require specific care.

After having these knives for about a year they start to chip and crack on the blade edges. They have been very-well cared for and always hand washed. We have sent several emails and tried calling Calphalon with no response for them it appears they could just care less.

I would strongly recommend staying away from any of their products!!!!!!
