Before I got this great-looking block for my knives, I just threw them in a drawer. Very frustrating finding the exact one I was looking for and I can't count the number of times I reached in without paying attention and cut my fingers! The price was also very, very good. Thanks Amazon! Again, you did not disappoint.

Ok but really strong chemical smell when package is opened. Block is outside airing out. If smell leaves I will keep. Other wise it is going back.

I was wanting to centralize our kitchen knives--this knife block was an excellent choice. We had two old knife holders, a small block and a magnet board so combined both and added steak knives from the drawer so every hole is filled. Of course with this many knives close together it is confusing which is which. Some organizing is in order, no fault of this very nice knife block. Two day Amazon Prime was on time and everything ordered was in good condition.
