Global knives have thin, very stiff blades with the weight focused in the handle for great balance. The grips are the best and the knives are one-piece. They will last for centuries, I imagine. This one is hard to find because it has a rounded tip. It is strong enough to tackle big jobs and small enough to serve as a paring knife.
