the perimeter size is right.. but.. the opening is smaller than the butter stick. What am I supposed to do? Squeeze it out? Really? Well you know the butter gets hard in the refrigerator. Useless device unfortunately. Bad design. I used the butterboy (for a smaller perimeter butter stick) and it worked perfect, I seem to know what i am talking about..

The product is durable, well made. The handle on the pusher is small, and hard to grab when it gets near the bottom, but if necessary, I use a pliers to retrieve it. The butter well is deep enough to hold butter for about 8-10 ears of corn. I have a second one for larger parties. A hint, I keep one filled at all time and keep it in the freezer.
