This is some really great stuff. We use it as our everyday flatware and it really holds up. The pattern has a lot of detail and looks great. Plus it's a nice, heavy gauge of metal and really feels substantial. Amazon.com also had it a lot cheaper the Macy's which is always a plus. I would recommend this Mikasa set to anyone. A+++!!!
This is a beautiful placesetting that goes well with any of the Mikasa platinum banded china. I registered for this place setting to go with my Mikasa Cameo platinum china. The best this about this design is Mikasa also offers additional serving pieces: steak knives, butter knives, dessert set, salad set, and soup ladle. You can find them on their website. This is a excellent choice for a formal setting and at this price, it's hard to beat!
