When moving to the United States I was surprised that the selection of silverware is more limited than the one in Germany.
The silverware available in the U.S. is mainly produced in Vietnam, only this set "Mademoiselle" I am aware of is made in Indonesia. This would not be a problem for me if it was actually mentioned in the product description or was visible on the amazon photos or on the official website on the Villeroy & Boch website. However, this is not mentioned in the article description.
I would say that this set is of inferior quality than the Vietnam made sets that I also had in hands. However, the Vietnam print is more visible on the other silverware than the Indonesia stamp.
I expected high quality silverware made in Germany (unless mentioned otherwise), but received somewhat quality made silverware made in Vietnam... I am disappointed.
I uploaded a photo for you to get a better idea of what you are ordering.
