
This knife has the effortless strength and sharpness to saw through some of San Francisco's crustiest, delicious bread. We are talking quick slicing through a big round loaf of levain (whole wheat). When I got the tool in the mail, I was weary about how thin the blade is. Then I used it. I have been slicing tomatoes, so thin, as the old commercial used to say of those other knives, that my in-laws quit staying for more. It cleans easily and stores well. What a good investment!
