Picnic at Ascot Mincing Knife and Board Set

I didn't realize that it was a double blade, which is a great feature because that means it minces things up even faster that I previously thought. But having two parallel blades means that you'll probably never be able to sharpen them.

The pros are:

-Non-electric, so it'll never break down on you

-Easy to clean, easy to use

-Solid base that doesn't slip around

-Super fast chopping

-Round chopping board keeps food from falling off

-Can't cut yourself with two hands on the mincing knife

The cons:

-One of my blades was chipped, so that's poor quality control

-The blades are not very sharp

-I can't figure out a way that I'll ever to be able to sharpen the blades when they dull, which is inevitable since they aren't too sharp to begin with.

Still, I love this set. It's so pretty and it's cut my prep time (no pun intended) with making something like my delicious basil aïoli sauce from over 15 minutes to about 90 seconds, no joke. That's rather amazing.
