Mountain Woods Multi-Purpose Cutting Board and Crumb Tray

I've had this product for a few months now. It is nicely constructed and works well. However, some of the top slats have warped slightly, so the cutting surface is no longer even. Occasionally this makes it hard to completely cut through the bread at the bottom.

My dad is an expert bread maker, so it was hard to find a bread-related product he didn't already have or didn't want. But after some searching, I found this very cool, multi-purpose bread serving tray with crumb catcher, which lifts out to be cooling rack. Taking the chance he may already have one tucked away somewhere, I ordered it and had it sent....and bingo. Not only did he not have one, he loves it! It's the perfect size for serving at the table, is well-constructed and made of quality wood and it really does catch the crumbs.

I love this breadboard because I am tired of cleaning up everyone's crumbs in the kitchen. Now the crumbs end up falling through the slats. The top lifts off for disposal of the crumbs and clean up is fast. I keep the bread knife under the top part and life is just a little bit easier.

By the reviews this product got I thought it would be extravagant. I ordered it for my grandma because she eats bread like it's her day job and she hates crumbs with a passion. When I got the product the plastic that encased it was half ripped off so I ripped the rest of it off and lifted up the tray and noticed the one corner was completely chipped off and the tiny pin nail holding it together was exposed and wobbly, there was also another split on an opposite side where the nail was not carefully shot through. Decent construction and I'm sure she will get use out of it for a while and love it, grandmas love everything.
