My boyfriend bought this because we're pig-item collectors. I'm currently using the pig as a pen-holder, and he threw out the spreader because it didn't match the coloring of the big pig/it looks like a dog. I don't think this would be a good item to hold dip in, because the inside dips into the feet and would make a difficult task to clean.

I was expecting a much larger bowl, probably my own fault for not reading the description closely enough. This could fit about one cup worth of dip max, which would last about 15 minutes at a party. waited too long to return it so now I'm stuck with it. I'll probably white elephant it. Maybe someone would like it.
