We bought very expansive, and very nice knives, so we decided to display them in our kitchen but it was not easy to find the best way. Most commercial knife racks are made of metal which is really bad for the knives and the few wooden once we found seemed to be too expansive for what they were. With this rack, I would say , we found the perfect combination: very nice looking, solid wood and most important not dangerous for the blade! :) In a sentence: we are really happy with this product!
