These knives are great for cooks. They keep a sharp edge and they are easy to handle. I enjoy the balance of the knife and how it fits in my hand. I own 3 of Yoshihiro brand knives and I would like to get a few more soon. This particular knife I tend to use for slicing a variety of grilled meats. It is a must have.

i was really impressed with the quality and workmanship of the knife. i have had this knife in my possession for less than 4 months and the tip has broken off. I'm unhappy, sad and just irritated that it happened. i took very good care of my knife. i am especially unhappy of the fact that i can't contact the seller to verify my warranty. This knife is like samurai sword razor sharp and beatifully made. I cut whole ham without any resistance it goes thru like butter! But I cut my finger to the bone at first day be carefull with this one!

I am a morning prep chef and this knife does what it does well and more. I mainly use it for prepping Ahi Tuna loins, but it serves me especially well for butchering a whole salmon or just slicing portions of prime rib for service. When I have no questions in my knife's capabilities and I am proud to show it off... I know I have a keeper.
