I bought these to have for a cheese ball over Christmas but plans got changed and I didn't end up using them. I really wanted to try them out so I made a baked brie appetizer for our New Years celebration and these speaders worked wonderfully! They're just small enough to not feel overpowering to the dish it was used in, yet they are very sturdy so you won't feel like they might break if you are trying to dig into a harder cheese or in my case a baked breading exterior. I had initially looked to get a themed spreader to use for the holidays but then thought it would be best to get a simple, generic kind of design that can be used year round. The fact that this set came with 4 speaders at such a great price was what sold me on them and I'm really glad I decided to go with these and not holiday themed ones so that now I know I can use them anytime.

Love these spreaders! Just what I was looking for. Even my husband, who has huge hands, has no problem with them. I do handwash them because, in my opinion, they are a bit small to stick in the dishwasher. My only complaint is that I was expecting red as was pictured. I received black. good price for great, hard to find in store item. these make it easy for kid to spread peanut butter on crackers or butter on toast. Not sharp.
