Messermeister 3" Garnishing Edge-Guard

As a daily lunch carrier, having a cover for a pairing knife is key if you want to cut up fresh fruit and veggies and not worry about the knife cutting through your lunch box. I have placed these in the dishwasher (w/out heat dry) and have been very pleased.

This product works great and as described, but the "Product Dimensions" listed under "Product Details" are actually the dimensions of the packaging. The knife guard itself is only 3 5/16 x 5/8 inches.

Nice little knife guard, nothing fancy. Appears durable, fits snuggley over knife blade. Simple solution so I don't cut myself when reaching into the drawer.

I purchased a variety of sizes of these guards to protect blade edges, fingers, and my knife roll. They work as advertised, fitting snugly on even thin blades. Perhaps a bit difficult to put on, but this seems consistent with the secure fit once attached. Sizes from paring to large chef's work the same.
