Though advertised as stainless steel, it must be a very low grade. If you do not dry these spreaders immediately after washing rust spots can develop on the blade. It's not that big of a deal for me to return them, so I kept them.

Other then that, they fit comfortably in your hand, and easily spreads cream cheese, jellies and dips.

These are nice basic spreaders they feel sturdy with a good thick handle and look nice when entertaining, not to plain but basic enough to fit any occasion.
