Wolfgang Puck 15 Piece Cutlery Set

Great knifes. I have had the knifes for 3 months and I LOVE them. Nice and sharp, have not needed to sharpen yet and I use them all at lest 2-3 times a week. I would just say that you should dry after cleaning to keep them shinny.

Bought this to replace an older set with fewer pieces and no steak knives. Updated look as you would expect but blades are thinner than previous set and do not have as solid a feel as the old ones. For example, the large carving knife on the old set was 8 inches; this one is 7 inches. While this one has a few additional types of knives, not sure that you need all of them for everyday meal prep, such as a Santoku and a vegetable knife. They are very sharp and you could do worse for a decent set of cutlery. If we didn't have the previous, more solid set, we would never think these are inferior in any way. Steak knives are a nice bonus. Kept the old set as a back-up and for a couple of old favorites. Message to the manufacturer: Don't let the quality continue to go downhill.

These knives are sharp and of excellent quality. I have used them mainly for slicing fruits and vegetables. The few times I used them on meats were easy. I think as long as I follow the directions in caring for the knives, they will last a long time.
