We have the rest of the set of these knives they're the real deal, although don't loose them (as we did) as replacing the individual knives is expensive. The rest of the ones in the set have held up very well under daily use and infrequent maintenance or sharpening. We don't put them in the dishwasher (duh) and they hold their edge very well. Worth the money.
