Kuhn Rikon Classic Serrated Utility Knives, Set of 3, Yellow, Green, and Red

These knives are great for the price. I live with 3 other guys and so these knives get plenty of use and abuse but they're still sharp and quite durable. The colors are fun and make them easy to pick out from a full drawer and the different sizes/types in this pack are also convenient.

I had been looking for these knives ever since I returned to the USA. I used them all the time in New Zealand. However, when the knives arrived, only one of the knives is serrated? Never mind, they are still very good knives at a reasonable cost.

I've been using these knives for years for camping/car camping. There are three different knives: Green, straight 3 5/8" blade 8 1/4" OAL (over all length), good for pairing knife or cheeses; Yellow, serrated 4 3/4" blade 9 3/8" OAL, good for breads; Red, straight 6" blade 10 3/8" OAL, good for misc slicing and chopping. Very light weight sturdy design, the sheaths fit snuggly and ventilate the knifes if still wet. The blade is extremely sharp, and stays very sharp (I use a nice set of Wusthof knives in the kitchen, and would compare their performance to these). I've already have had friends that have camped with me buy a set. For the price, you really can't get a better set for camping, or an RV, tackle box, survival kit, etc.

Maybe it's just me, the green knife is useful and used, the yellow knife used rarely, the red knife is very light weight and doesn't cut very well, I don't recommend them.
