Montana Knife 4-Piece Paring Knife Set with Colored Poly Handles

This is a nice paring knife set, I bought them for fellow workers in a dinning facility in afganistan. The colors are nice so people can keep track of which one is theres or if you want to cordinate colors to certain foods like meat or vegtables. These knives are fairly sharp but if ussed a lot will need to be sharpend. I wish they came with sheaths so one could keep them in your pocket, but the price is right. I also do a lot of garnishing and carving art with fruit, these knives blades are a little to wide and the points not defined/pointy enough for detail carving. That said they work great for regular slicing of vegitables and fruits. Overall a great deal

Knives are what the appear to be. Cheap solution for the need of a pairing knife. But if you need a knife to come sharp out of the box, this one is not for you. Also the steel seems to be very very hard and there for is extremely difficult to sharpen and does not retain an edge very well.
