I bought this because I used to not eat breakfast. Now, it takes me 20 seconds to make a delicious morning smoothie for breakfast. I love that it came with 3 cups. I fill one of the cups with frozen fruit the night before. In the morning, I pour milk, plop in some yogurt, blend, and breakfast is made in 20 seconds. Motor works fine after 1 month. No issues at all.
For now I am a little suspicious that the shakes turn out a little less foamy, but I have to try that with different protein powders to be sure.This blender is awesome! I received this as a gift. I didn't tell anyone and I received a Magic Bullet for Christmas that year as well. Side by side, this things BURIES the MB. Its motor is strong and never gives up on me. I blend shakes EVERY DAY, several times a day. I use ICE, usually about 3 5 cubes for each shake because I like it cold and sometimes frozen fruit as well. I also add Kale to my shakes now and still no problems. The kale pulverizes and the fruit and ice cubes all blend down into a nice smoothie consistency. Sometimes the ice cubes will stick together and make the blades stick too, not able to get a start up but, you just tap a little and off it goes.
I'm telling you, you will love this blender. The only draw back I can think of is, it's a pain to clean the cups because the bars inside the cup hurt my hands but other than that I love it. It's strong and blends all my stuff really fast and efficiently. The MB takes forever (like 3 4X's longer to blend than this one), doesn't give that nice smooth consistency I like, and if I use Ice, it leaves little "ice balls" even after a long time blending and doesn't just break them down all the way. It feels like its going to break and also feels cheap. I gave it to my husband for his "little shakes" (no ice or fruit or anything hard to blend) and it works for him, but if you are like me and really want something to tear up and abuse and use all the time, try this product. Its wonderful! If mine ever does break, i will run right here to Amazon and buy another one! I won't go get anything else. I love it that much.My Mom bought one of these for my brother about 5 years ago. I now use the same one on a regular basis and am really impressed with the power of the motor and the simplicity. I make yogurt smoothies in the morning and have also used it to grid spices. Works very well for both. Ordering one for a friend now!Thus far, I have not had any problems, it has been a week Plus, my new gadget uses crushed ice, yaaaay. My fresh fruit and veggies blends well. I will re-assess this product in a few months.
