This is an excellent knife I have had mine for over twenty years and it is as sharp as the first day I used it...now am recommending it to my daughter, another bread maker in the family it's a must have if you bake your own bread for buy fresh breads at the market.

I have been using this knife for about 6 years on my homemade bread, and I think it works great. I will bring loaves of bread to share at work, or give them to friends and they always ask how I cut it so perfectly. I can make thin slices with ease. I have never done any sharpening or maintenance to it and it still looks and works like new.

This knife is made for one thing-slicing bread and it is the best there is. Two things--don't put it in the dishwasher and DO NOT hit your finger. I've had mine for many years, I think around 25 or so and it is still like new and still sharp as a razor.
