Got these shears to replace the ones that came with my cheap knife block set, which were hard to clean and getting to be gross. These Kitchenaid shears are great! They are much more comfortable to use, and seem to be sharper. There is no funky pliers section or bottle openers on the blades (a waste of space), just scissor blades. They are easy to clean despite not being able to separate. The included sheath is nice because I keep these in my kitchen drawer, and also for the few times I've brought them in the car.
