My dad accidentally chipped the first knife by hacking away at bone! I immediately ordered a replacement. Can't function without this all-around, everyday task knife. I use it for everything. I got rid of all my other knives. I only kept a small paring knife and a large serrated knife for bread and bagels. Otherwise, this is the bees knees! :)

Bought the 5" style last year for my mother-in-law and gave her this 7" style this year. She was ecstatic because the knife is so well balanced and comfortable to use. The red handle makes it easy to find in the knife rack and also on the counter top. She thinks it is safer because of the red handle because you always know where to pick it up.
